Organic Religion is a stop motion animation using clay as the medium. By telling a story of  the life cycle of  a person influenced by religions, this animation visualized the concept of religion as an organism, brought up by Lawerence Krauss, which discussed that religion is given its autonomy as an organism instead of making people realize the authorities under the structure of religion.

 

The influence of religion on human beings can be invisible and subliminal, for example, how Confucianism has impacted the patriarchy system in China by demanding children to recite its doctrine Three Character Primer. By depicting the cycle of a person in the world from religious perspective, this animation revealed how three religion (Confucianism, Buddhism, Daoism) has impacted a human in perceiving the world, understanding life and death and the way world functions.
